HISTORY
John Robert Powers International came to life way back
in 1923, when Mr. Powers founded the first modeling agency,
forming the foundations of today’s multi-million
dollar modeling industry. Soon afterwards, the first Powers
personality development school was opened.
From his many writings and published books, Mr. Powers
created the curriculum that now forms the core of
today’s courses. These include personality development,
executive skills, modeling, acting and a variety of
other courses. Today, the John Robert Powers System
is internationally renowned, with schools located
throughout the United States and Asia, under the supervision
of Richard C. Upton, President of John Robert Powers
International.
John Robert Powers Indonesia began in 1985, when Rayan
and Diana Wijaya established the first institution
in Jakarta under the license of John Robert Powers
International.
Seven years later, Indayati Oetomo founded the Surabaya
branch. Her success as a Managing Director enabled
her to become International Director of John Robert
Powers in Indonesia, and she is now responsible for
supervising all John Robert Powers branches throughout
the country. During the daily operation, Indayati
Oetomo is fully supported by John Robert Powers Indonesia
Board of Management. |
